
Kurt Krautheim
Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Kurt Krautheim is an attorney with experience spanning private markets, structured finance, financial services regulation, complex commercial transactions, and cross-border business matters.
Kurt advises domestic and international businesses, investment professionals, and entrepreneurs on a wide range of legal and strategic matters, including commercial contracts, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, financing transactions, and business operations. His practice includes substantial experience in financial services, fintech, anti-money laundering compliance, securities regulation, private market investments, alternative assets, and securitization transactions involving both traditional and non-traditional asset classes.
Before concentrating on transactional, regulatory, and advisory work, Kurt built a foundation in commercial litigation representing businesses in disputes involving contract claims, fraud, corporate divorce, trade secrets, and related appeals. This experience continues to inform his practical and business-oriented approach to risk management and dispute avoidance.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Kurt served as an adjunct professor of piano at a Florida college. He remains an avid jazz fan and pianist.

Kurt obtained his BA from Florida State University and his JD from Seton Hall University School of Law.
He is admitted to practice law in both state and federal courts in New York and practices as a foreign legal consultant in Zürich, Switzerland.
